About Me

I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I don't love the heat, but I hate being in the snow or humidity for longer than a few days - so this is a good place for me to be. I am a wife and mother of 5, currently a stay at home mom, and always busy. My family loves to go up to the rim country to get out of the heat or go camping and get dirty regularly. I taught special needs preschool for 12 years before my amazing husband made it happen for me to stay home with our crazy littles.

I love every moment of it, but that left me with needing a creative outlet and something to call mine. Enter photography. The same amazing husband gifted me my first fancy camera a few years earlier. I had no idea how to use it, but I was determined to document our children growing. I used some close friends to branch out my subject matter once I was more comfortable photographing other people and children. I found a great photography educator, Meg Bitton, who continues to put out educational videos, classes, and workshops that help me learn more and more. Over the course of time photography has become something that I love and could get lost in (although our littles always bring me back to reality)!
